Founder & General Contractor
Scott Coombs
Scott found himself traveling the world and assisting with the IPO of a biotech company - only to realise a few years later that his true passion wasn't in boardrooms, but in building. In 2022, he settled in the mountains of North Carolina and purchased a property which he, his brother Mike, and sister-in-law Emily transformed into their off-grid dream home.
With hands on experience, a sharp eye for design, and a deep respect for craftmanship, he's now on a mission to bring that same sense of creativity and intentional living into other people's homes.

Emily Coombs-Gerrald
Emily has an intuitive eye for design and a natural ability to walk into any space and instantly see its full potential. She's not only creative, but also deeply attuned to what her clients want - even when they're not quite sure how to describe it themselves.
Her talent lies in translating your vision into something tangible, while offering fresh ideas you may not have considered. She's also a savvy shopper, sourcing beautiful, budget-friendly pieces that elevate your space without breaking the bank. A true visionary and thoughtful collaborator, she brings both style and soul to every project.

Mike is our go-to expert when it comes to off-grid living and self-reliance. Whether you're curious about solar setups, rainwater systems, or raising your own chickens and bees - he's got the knowledge and firsthand experience to make that happen at your property.
He's also an incredibly skilled woodworker, known for building beautiful, functional furniture pieces that bring warmth and character into every space. But what truly sets him apart, is his unmatched eye for detail. From clean lines to custom finishes, he ensures every project ends not just completed, but crafted to perfection. He doesn't rest until the job is done right - and the client is smiling.
